2009
Four bakeries
Hearthside's humble beginnings originate with four manufacturing locations in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

2010
Initial expansion
A larger capacity for growth leads Hearthside to acquire Consolidated Biscuit Company and Golden Temple.

2011
Organic growth
Hearthside enjoys an organic expansion to nine locations in five states.

2012
Contract packaging
More expansion. Manufacturing and packaging grows to 18 locations in seven states.

2013
Granola source
Hearthside introduces a granola production facility to ensure supply for energy bar and granola products.

2014
Raising the bar
Hearthside exceeds $1B in sales, as more brands trust the company with their energy bar business.

2015
European & US expansion
Three EU bar locations added, plus another US nutritional bar plant. Hearthside is now a 23-facility network.

2016
R&D doubles
Midwest bakery is added, along with new investments in R&D, innovation, and production infrastructure.

2017
Bar business growth
SFFGI facility is added to the network. R&D resources again double, commercializing 836 products in one year.

2018
Greencore acquired
Hearthside acquires Greencore USA, adding USDA fresh and frozen capabilities while also expanding the production network in the US and Europe.
