IKE Transportation is a 100% employee owned flatbed company headquartered in Murfreesboro, Tenn., providing regional short haul service for over 22 years. Steve Rutledge and Steve Jones founded IKE Transportation, Inc. in 1996 with over 60 years combined years of transportation experience. IKE Transportation became 100% employee owned on June 1, 2016. Through an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) when Big G Express acquired IKE. IKE employees share in the future success of the company and are part of Big G's ESOP.

IKE has about 60 trucks and is hiring regional drivers in TN, AL, and KY with at least 1 year OTR experience (or 18 months without trucking school certificate). IKE offers excellent benefits with BCBS family coverage and drivers are off EVERY WEEKEND!

IKE Transportation was acquired by Big G Express in June 2016. As a subsidiary, IKE is part of Big G's Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) and all IKE employees benefit from this FREE RETIREMENT. Big G Express became 100% Employee Owned in 2009 when the four owners created an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) as a planned exit strategy. Instead of selling to another carrier and jeopardizing the jobs of the employees who had worked hard to build a successful company, Pat, Jack, Patty and David sold Big G Express to the employees. Big G's ESOP enables every executive, driver and support staff to share in the rewards, and the responsibilities, of ownership.
