A Certified Community Behavioral Health Organization (CCBHO) is an organization that meets a
series of rigorous federal standards to ensure improved access, comprehensiveness, and quality of
care. Due to our outstanding performance as a CCBHO, the National Council for Behavioral Health
selected Compass as an exemplar to represent all such organizations from across seven states. In
particular, the National Council asked Compass to host a convening of organizations from around the
nation that are moving toward becoming CCBHOs. At that convening, our staff delivered a series of
highly impactful and informative presentations, helping attendees understand not only how to become
a CCBHO, but how to reach and even go beyond the requirements of the program.

Compass Health Network cares about the well-being & health of all employees, interns, and practicum students. Employees can participate in our Wellness Program, which has been recognized by the American Heart Association since 2017 and the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services and the University of Missouri Extension in 2020. Through the Wellness Program, employees can participate in various challenges and activities towards incentive points for an annual incentive deposit. Employee’s can participate in a biometric health screening at their local office at no cost, which includes a finger stick cholesterol screening for HDL, LDL, triglycerides, and glucose results. All employees are eligible to receive a flu shot at no charge during the screening.

In addition to our Wellness Program, our Employee Assistance Program provides resources for employees when they need it most. Employees and their eligible dependents have access to many free resources available through our Alternatives Employee Assistance Program. Compass now covers six sessions per calendar year, per type of service! Resources include online therapy services, free webinars, life coaching, and so much more! Alternatives has added a COVID-19 section for resilience tools, tips for working at home, financial stress, and supporting children at home.
