Heritage Medical Associates was founded in early 1990's, when three independent groups of internists came together to form an organization that would be ideally suited to continue to offer quality patient care in the ever-changing health care setting. From the original practices, we have grown to be the largest independently-owned multi-specialty group in Middle Tennessee, with over 100 physicians and other providers practicing more than a dozen specialties. In addition to the physician practices, we offer a full range of laboratory and diagnostic services, including advance imaging such as mammography, CT and MRI.

Heritage Medical Associates offers numerous ancillary services designed to complement the care provided by our doctors. These services, which are provided in the comfortable, private surroundings of Heritage Medical Associates, include:
• Full-service laboratory with state-of-the-art equipment
• Diagnostic testing services, including digital mammography, ultrasound, CT scan, bone density scan
and other x-ray procedures
• Allergy testing and treatment
• Behavioral Healthcare for individuals trying to cope with family issues, depression, or drug and alcohol
disorders
• Diabetes Treatment Center and nutritional counseling
• Endoscopic procedures.

In addition to these services, Heritage Medical Associates can also work with numerous outside agencies to coordinate other needs.
