Summertree Residential Centers

Summertree Residential Centers, Inc. is a private non-profit organization that provides specialized residential and personal support services to adults who have developmental disabilities. We have a rich tradition in this field and take pride in having served people with disabilities since 1978. The residential homes we operate are mostly six-bed capacity, with a couple that are smaller. All of these homes are state licensed. We also offer services in apartment and individually owned home settings for individuals who have some higher abilities, and do not require 24 hour support. Each situation is viewed as unique, and services are customized to meet the specific needs of each person.

Summertree Residential Centers, Inc. is a private non-profit corporation that manages twelve group homes and other residential settings for adults with developmental disabilities and mental impairments.

Summertree also provides personal support services in five semi-independent living apartments, one Model Waiver II program, and a self-determination agreement in a home leased by a consumer. To operate these homes Summertree contracts directly with two Community Mental Health Boards, namely Northern Lakes and North Country Community Mental Health.

Summertree has homes in a large geographic area that covers five counties, including: Charlovoix, Antrim, Kalkaska, Otsego and Grand Traverse.
