What is it like working for us?Keystone prides itself on being an organization that appreciates its’ employees dedication. Often times our special events are not just for our employees, but for their whole family as well! We understand that the time you spend with us is time you spend away from them. We not only want to show gratitude and appreciation to you, but also to your family. That is why summertime brings ballgames, trips to amusement parks, and bowling. Not only do employees and families receive free admission to these events, but also lunch and usually a KCR T-Shirt. Long-time employees often joke about the drawers full of KCR t-shirts, hoodies, and other swag they have accrued over the years!
TrainingKeystone does not require you to have a background in intellectual disabilities or autism prior to joining our team as an entry level DSP. We provide all new hires with a comprehensive 2 week paid training that is held both in the classroom and in the field. This training has been carefully curated by our highly trained Staff Development Department. In addition to required trainings, they also provide all employees with supplemental education to ensure they are ready to hit the ground running. But training doesn’t stop there! Our Staff Development team will continue to follow you along your career path to ensure you receive any and all training and education you need to become successful.
BenefitsKeystone offers a traditional Benefits Package that includes so much more than one would expect! Outside of our Vision/Medical/Dental plan, we also offer a very generous PTO package that provides employees with 21 days of Paid Time Off after 90 days of employment! Are your children active in sports or do you have a gym membership? Our Medical Insurance provider will help you pay for that!
Additional benefits at 90 days include 100% Company Paid Life Insurance, an Employee Assistance Program, and access to a Health Advocate for employees and their dependents. After 6 months with us, employees become eligible for Company Matched 401k and after 1 year an employee is eligible for tuition reimbursement! At Open Enrollment employees can choose to participate in Flex Spending and enroll in Short-Term Disability.

Keystone has recently introduced a self-directed Level Up system that allows employees the opportunity to not just earn a higher hourly rate, but also promote quickly within the company. Each level requires an employee to accomplish specific goals. Once those goals are met, the employee becomes eligible for a raise. Once an employee reaches Level 5 they are then eligible for a Promotion into a Leadership role within Keystone. Keystone puts the power of success in the hands of their employees.
Support DepartmentsOur primary services are strengthened by supportive resources, including clinical, health services and quality management.
Providing excellent care is a team effort. We have so many departments at Keystone that give us not only support, but also the tools we need to provide the best possible care. With both Nursing and Clinical, we have medical and behavioral supports available around the clock. In addition to that, we have an incredible Staff Development team that not only provides training during Orientation, but will work to secure any other specialty training that might be needed. Our Quality Management Department is in the field every day ensuring quality care is provided 24/7, and our IT department keeps us all connected. With over 80 community-based group homes and Day Option Programs, a lot can happen. That is why we have a facilities maintenance and a vehicle maintenance team to keep all of our buildings and our entire fleet of vehicles up and running smoothly. You will rarely find yourself with a problem that a support department cannot help you solve.

As a leading provider in Pennsylvania, Keystone set the standard for Covid Preparedness. All departments were affected by the pandemic and worked together seamlessly to ensure the individuals in our care as well as staff received all of the support, PPE, and medical attention when needed. Keystone hosted its’ own vaccination clinic and with the help of our nurses, vaccinated hundreds of individuals and employees.
Community EngagementKeystone is definitely a company that likes to have fun! We pride ourselves on being immersed into the communities we support. We not only sponsor events, but also participate to the fullest extent! We often support organizations and causes that are not only important to Keystone’s mission, but also near and dear to our employees.
