About JRayl Transport
JRayl is a large, asset-based logistics company that has been family owned and operated since 1987. Founders Tim Rayl and Jim St.John began the company with only five trucks on a small private farm in Akron Ohio. Currently, with more than 400 employees and multiple strategically placed locations, JRayl is able to meet the needs of a growing number of shippers, carriers, and drivers in the U.S. and around the world.
In 2017, JRayl has received a number of awards recognizing true dedication to their employees and their customers. The Lone Star NGV Award was given for JRayl’s outstanding leadership, vision, and innovation. The Cascade Capital Corporation Business Growth Award was received for outstanding levels of sales and employee growth. The Entrepreneurial Spirit Award, JRayl was recognized for our honest and genuine focus on employees and market approach.

JRayl Transport is a family owned and operated company that was founded by a couple Owner/Operators! Headquartered in Akron, Ohio, we offer salary and mileage programs for our Class A CDL Hourly, Regional and OTR Drivers. All of our driving positions offer a 100% Paid Basic Insurance or our Anthem Blue Cross Benefits package.
The safety of our drivers is our #1 priority and we want to be sure every driver has the knowledge to succeed! JRayl offers planning, maneuverability, e-logs, and/or safety awareness training to ensure our Drivers maximize their payout and get home every week to their families safely!

JRayl’s Lanes run the Midwest/Eastern half of the United States. This means that our drivers are never too far away from home. If our drivers want to be home, JRayl gets our drivers home EVERY WEEKEND!
JRayl has 4 major terminals in Ohio, Indiana, Texas, and Virginia as well as strategic remote yards.
JRayl has never laid off a driving in their 30 years of business. Our drivers never have to worry about work when we Welcomed them to JRayl Transport!
