About NEEDS Center
The NEEDS Center non-profit organization that was founded in 2012.
Our mission: is to provide education, training and support to individuals with developmental disabilities to assist them to live as independently as possible.
The leadership team of the NEEDS Center all have extensive histories of working with people with developmental disabilities and have specialized in working with people who present with challenging behavior.
The NEEDS Center has grown since it began providing services in April of 2014 to include 15 adult group residences and 2 day support programs. In addition, as of July 2017, NEEDS Center also includes a consulting division that provides behavioral and other supports to children with autism and other developmental disabilities in both school and home settings.
We have now expanded into Florida as of early 2022!

The North East Educational and Developmental Support Center (NEEDS Center) has been created to provide education, training and support to individuals with developmental disabilities to assist them to live meaningful lives, as independently as possible.
Thank you to Cummings Foundation for this award!This is the largest grant we have ever received since our founding in 2012. With this funding, we will continue to provide specialized behavioral supports to individuals with Autism and other Developmental Disabilities while providing a diverse and inclusive work environment for our staff.
?We recently held our second annual NEEDS Center Family & Friends Picnic at Homestead in Orleans, MA. It was a hot Saturday afternoon, but it was a perfect sunny day for the occasion with great food and fun company.
