Optimist Youth Homes and Family Services

Optimist Youth Homes and Family Services helps children in, or at risk of, in the foster care system who have experienced significant trauma achieve bright futures. We accomplish this through a robust continuum of care, which includes mental health counseling, emergency shelter and residential care programs, foster family and adoption homes, educational and career advocacy, and supportive housing.

We use trauma-informed and evidence-based practices that lead to emotional resilience, social support, educational attainment, and career pathways. At Optimist, foster children learn that there is a hopeful path forward.
