State of Franklin Healthcare Associates (SoFHA) was founded in 1998 and serves the Tri-Cities Tennessee-Virginia region. We adhere to the patient-centered model of healthcare service, which means we won’t just treat you – we partner with you to achieve long-term better health.

Physician-owned and operated, our healthcare organization is board managed, with Dr. James Hansen as chief manager and Dr. Ronald Blackmore as board chairman.

With medical services in internal medicine, interventional pain management, physical therapy, walk-in clinic, OB/GYN, family practice, pediatrics, hospitalists and sleep medicine, SoFHA is currently supported by over 140 skilled healthcare providers working in 15 healthcare practices.

All SoFHA practices are supported with the latest in diagnostic imaging services, a clinical reference lab, sleep center and physical therapy. We’re also affiliated with the East Tennessee State University College of Pharmacy, which operates a clinical practice site for diabetes.

Our Walk-In Clinic – located in Suite 110 at our main campus – operates 7 days a week from 7 am to 9 pm. This clinic is closed only on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve (at noon), and Christmas Day.

We’re also affiliated with the East Tennessee State University College of Pharmacy, which operates a clinical practice site for diabetes.
