Locally and family-owned, EATS & SWEETS can be found in Old Town Lafayette. And yes, the Boulder Ice Cream treats and homemade baked good are a #1 drawing card. But this little retreat serves some serious (And healthy!) chow as well. The full menu includes Build-Your-Own Sandwiches and Salads, plus Fresh Fruit Smoothies and Ozo free-trade coffee. Mini Individual Quiches, Homemade Soups, Mini Pot Pies and Specialty Hot Chocolate. Currently, the house-baked goodies (made with organic evaporated cane sugar and all-natural unbleached flour) include Mini Individualized Pies, Chocolate Fudgey Brownie Cakes, Cookies ala Mode, and Banana or Zucchini Bread Slices.
