About White Bear Yacht Club
The White Bear Yacht Club (WBYC) was founded over one hundred years ago, first with a yacht club in 1889, followed by tennis in the 1890s and a golf facility in 1912. The lakeside location of WBYC on the shores of picturesque White Bear Lake make this one of the premier clubs in the St. Paul/Minneapolis metro area. We are the only club that offers golf, tennis, sailing and swimming in one venue.

Today, WBYC offers members and their guests a highly-ranked, impeccably maintained Donald Ross golf course, fine and casual dining in two state-of-the art clubhouses, clay tennis courts and an outstanding childrens’ program. To enhance the experiences of members and their guests, a new deck-dining facility, a five-lane lap pool and zero-entry splash pool with an adjoining cabana area overlooking the lakefront were added two years ago. The White Bear Yacht Club Golf Course has been consistently ranked in the top 100 classic golf courses in the US and top 5 in Minnesota. Our limited membership allows us to provide a very personalized club experience.

It is the mission of the White Bear Yacht Club to:
Provide the members and guests of the club with an exceptional social, dining and recreational experience at the club’s unique and distinctive setting, on the shores of White Bear Lake, and to preserve the tradition of a family-focused, multi-sport club including yachting, golf, tennis and swimming.
