BudWood Limited provides accommodation and support for young people aged 14-18.
The aim of the service is to provide young people with a stable comfortable home, where they will be receive high levels of support and guidance to keep them safe and help them learn and develop the necessary skills to enable them a smooth and successful transition to independence and adulthood.

Therapeutic input is integral within the support services provided by BudWood – all staff are trained in ‘developmental trauma’ and therapeutic parenting. Therapists and psychologists are available to provide one to one support to young people, as well as providing staff with clinical supervision.

Our homes are about acknowledging and accepting the stresses and anxieties many of the young people have, and reflecting on them through an engaging, curious, fun and active environment.

We want to help the young people learn about their internal alarm clock (the one that triggers states of stress) and support them to recognise and learn more acceptable ways of dealing with it.

Our C.A.T.C.H therapeutic model of supporting young people brings together elements from the models and theoretical approaches used in the field of developmental trauma.
