About Port Resources
Port Resources, a nonprofit organization based in South Portland with group homes across Southern Maine, supports people with developmental and behavioral health challenges, to live meaningful lives in their communities. Port Resources has been providing home healthcare services for more than 30 years and is one of the larger social service agencies in Maine. The organization works with adults who have a wide range of challenges, such as Autism, Down syndrome, Traumatic brain injuries and mental health diagnoses.

More than 200 skilled and certified staff provide an array of direct support services to improve the quality of life for several hundred individuals each year.
Staff members provide direct support to people living in group residences, as well as through adult foster care programs and in the home. Services can range from a few hours a week in an individual’s home to 24 hours a day in staffed group settings.
The organization also offers behavioral health services to children, adolescents, adults and families through an outpatient clinic and community outreach programs.
