Harnett County Schools offers excellent, differentiated support for beginning teachers. We also provide very intense support, as needed, for our residency hires. The NC Residency program allows non-education degree holders to enter the classroom with the understanding that they will complete necessary coursework and testing that leads to licensure within a three year period.
