About Hunter EMS / Hunter Ambulance
Hunter is a unique medical transportation operation dedicated to serving the community with uncompromised professionalism and care. We are proud to provide exceptional medical transportation to the New York Metropolitan area since 1982. We offer a full range of medical transportation services ranging from the most advanced high-risk critical care emergency transports to non-emergency services. Hunter handles hundreds of thousands of routine and urgent medical requests 24/7, 365 days each year.

Hunter has partnered with many of New York City's premier healthcare systems, not only as a vendor of BLS and ALS ambulances but through the development of new transportation management programs. Hunter continues to invest in its infrastructure through the development of proprietary EMS software, high tech communication applications, and advanced training of its field staff.

Hunter Ambulance - Bronx, NY

Hunter Ambulance was established in 1984. It is within this privately owned EMS agency that hundreds of thousands of lives are cared for each year. This legacy division of Hunter has paved the path for each of the many long term partnerships with skilled nursing facilities, hospitals and healthcare systems in Nassau, Suffolk and the five boroughs of New York City. Much of Hunter Ambulance's New York City operations have shifted to the newly developed Bronx turn out depot and training center.

Hunter EMS - Bay Shore, NY

Hunter EMS is Long Island's oldest and largest privately owned EMS service providing medical care from Port Jefferson and Patchogue to the Nassau-Queens border. Hunter EMS has established outposts to service many of the communities and hospitals along the north and south shores of the island. The focal point of our operations begins at our Regional Communications Center. Here, all urgent and routine ambulance transportation is received and dispatched to our fleet of Paramedic and BLS ambulances in Suffolk and Nassau Counties and the 5 Boroughs of New York City.
