At ReDiscover, we are “Passionate about People”! Founded in 1969, ReDiscover is a non-profit community mental health organization with a mission to deliver mental health and substance use disorder services to help individuals and families achieve happier, healthier, and more productive lives.

Over the past three years, ReDiscover has served more than 9,000 individuals annually who are indigent, uninsured, or underinsured, as well as people with private payer sources living in the southeastern Jackson County community of Kansas City, Missouri. At ReDiscover, we provide targeted and comprehensive treatment to maximize an individual’s ability to live independent and productive lives. With 20 locations in the Kansas City Metropolitan Area, ReDiscover is here to provide a wide array of services which include: individual, group, and family therapy; psychiatric evaluation and rehabilitation; medication management; crisis intervention; acute day treatment; health care assessments and care coordination; opioid treatment; and on-site pharmacy services.

ReDiscover employs over 650 employees ranging from psychiatrists, psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners, nurses, social workers, psychologists, counselors, rehabilitation practitioners, and administrative staff. All clinical staff are licensed, certified, and qualified mental health professionals ready to provide personalized treatment plans that best fit the needs of the individuals we serve. ReDiscover is accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), licensed by local and state authorities, and is a certified provider of the Missouri Department of Mental Health and the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services.
