About Australia Post
Australia Post is part of the fabric of Australian life. Through their people, products, services and community investment, they contribute to everyday life and business success across the nation. As Australia’s oldest continuously operating organisation, Australia Post is now over 200 years old. The organisation processes around 21 million mail items each day. Since becoming a Government Business Enterprise in 1989, Australia Post has been a completely self funded operation that faces full competition in nearly all areas of its business. Promoting the relevance of traditional letter mail in today’s fast changing technological world is a priority – as is the determination to extend business in new directions. The challenge ultimately is to continue providing Australians with one of the most efficient and innovative postal services in the world.

A Day In The Life of an Australia Post Delivery Officer
Every wondered what it's like to be one of our Posties? Wonder no more. Meet Raealla, one of our Postal Delivery Officers in NSW and walk a day in her shoes as she shares what she gets up to and what she loves most about being part of the Australia Post Team.
Meet Team Member, Kylie Smith
Kylie’s career journey is just one example of how we’re making a difference, delivering a better tomorrow.

When Kylie took a role as Postal Manager in Tennant Creek, she was looking for a new adventure. She now has a new home and feels part of the community. In such a remote community, delivering mail and packages is an essential part of each day.

Kylie describes the Australia Post Office in Tennant Creek as “the heartbeat that keeps this place connected to the rest of the world.”
