The Scoop:

Froehling & Robertson, Inc., (F&R) has been proudly engineering stability in the country since 1881, when German-born chemist Henry Froehling, M.D., Ph.D., established a chemical laboratory and coal mining consulting firm in Richmond, Virginia.

In 1924, when Scottish-born chemist Dr. Andrew Robertson joined Dr. Froehling’s business, the firm incorporated and was renamed Froehling & Robertson.

Today, F&R is the 10th oldest business in Virginia, and has even expanded throughout the Mid-Atlantic! We now focus on offering our clients innovative solutions in the areas of: constructions materials testing services, geotechnical engineering services, and environmental consulting solutions.
