R.P. Marzilli & Company is a full service landscape contractor that builds and maintains the finest residential landscapes. Our projects are built on country estates, oceanfront bluffs, suburban gardens and city courtyards. Our services include complete site preparation, planting, masonry, landscape lighting, irrigation, pools and water features. We also provide masonry for interior projects such as wine cellars and other architectural stone work. Our horticulture team maintains fine gardens, lawns, trees and seasonal flowers in containers or planting beds. We prepare your property for special events, install enhancements, and manage all of the landscape to meet any clients’ needs or the inevitable change of seasons. We are dedicated to the daily beauty and long term integrity of the landscape.

Our company is a strong supporter of education and the landscape industry. We have established the R. P. Marzilli & Company Scholarship, administered through the National Association of Landscape Professionals Foundation. Each year this scholarship provides financial assistance to promising students enrolled in landscape contracting and/or horticultural programs at two-year or four-year colleges and universities hoping to pursue an education and future in the landscape industry.

Bob Marzilli’s passion for building landscapes began at a very young age working with his grandfather, father, and uncles in their family’s landscaping maintenance business. Bob learned from his family the values of trusted relationships, customer service and quality workmanship. He worked his way through college at the Stockbridge School of Agriculture and the University of Massachusetts Amherst earning degrees in Landscape Construction and Landscape Architecture. The education and experience at UMass Amherst revealed the great potential of the landscape industry and Bob’s dream of developing the most respected landscape construction company in New England was born. In 1985, Bob struck out on his own with a handwritten list of goals (we still have the note), one truck, one trailer, one skidsteer and the support of his wife, Christine.
