About The Merion Cricket Club
The Merion Cricket Club is a private club situated in Haverford, Pennsylvania. The Club was founded in 1865. The Merion Cricket Club has a long tradition of hosting national and international competitive events in tennis, squash, cricket and croquet. Merion boasts some of the finest tennis and squash facilities and programs of any private club in the country and enjoys an international reputation for excellence.

Today, Merion’s extensive facilities include three dining venues, 40 tennis courts, 11 squash courts, 4 paddle tennis courts, a full-service fitness center, men’s and women’s locker facilities, a retail pro shop and four bowling lanes. Also contained in the historic clubhouse are a multiple dining venues for member enjoyment as well as a variety of private event rooms including the Grand Ballroom and the Wine Cellar.

In 2017, the Club embarked on a major renovation and campus expansion. In May of 2020, the Club completed the final stages of the Campus Master Plan. This multi-phased $25 million project has significantly enhanced the Club’s many lifestyle amenities by investing heavily in fitness & wellness, and adding an outdoor, recreational resort style pool, a kid's clubhouse, a new Paddle Tennis complex featuring 4 courts and a premiere social pavilion.
