Big G Express became 100% Employee Owned in 2009 when the four owners created an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) as a planned exit strategy. Instead of selling to another carrier and jeopardizing the jobs of the employees who had worked hard to build a successful company, Pat, Jack, Patty and David sold Big G Express to the employees. Big G's ESOP enables every executive, driver and support staff to share in the rewards, and the responsibilities, of ownership. Which literally means that each of us succeeds when our customers succeed.
