About Chartiers Center
Chartiers Center provides compassionate support to individuals and their families who face behavioral health challenges, co-occurring disorders, or intellectual and developmental disabilities as they transform their lives. Driven by recovery-oriented principles, our services provide housing and support options that make it possible for every person to receive the kind of treatment they need— wherever and whenever. Services are provided throughout Allegheny County and focus on physical health and wellness needs.
Our portfolio of services is compiled into service lines to show the continuity of our operations. Our service lines include:
Recovery Treatment Services: This service line is home to the programs that provide treatment, therapy and medication management.
Recovery Support Services: Largely compromised of residential programs, this service line assists severely mentally ill individuals in their recovery while allowing them to live successfully in the community.
Recovery Rehabilitation Services: Like our Recovery Support Services, this service line assists individuals in learning skills, developing recovery strategies and accessing and often complicated set of systems. Additionally, this service line is home to our renowned Homeless Services.
Resilience Support Systems: This service offers two adult day programs where individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities can develop friendships, learn skills and obtain life-enriching experiences.
