Professional Power Products, Inc. designs, manufactures, and sells custom engineered integrated electrical power generation systems. It offers enclosure products, including drop over style, weatherproof, and sound attenuated enclosures, as well as field erection kits for use in reciprocating and gas turbine generator set markets; power modules; single, double, and triple axel tow behind trailers with optional integral double wall fuel tanks; and fuel tanks with various capacities. The company also provides load banks that are used in testing electrical power sources; electrical control panels and equipment; circuit breakers, which are used for engines, generators, pumps, and fuel level control; and switchgears that are used for distribution, paralleling, and motor control applications in utility, industrial, and critical power industries. In addition, it offers a range of engineering design and consulting support, technical support, and installation services. The company’s products have applications in utility, offshore oil and gas platforms, hospitals, and electrical products and systems, as well as in diesel and natural gas power generation markets. Custom Engineering and Design Capability

We have completely redesigned our acoustical enclosures with patented features and quality standards like 150-mph wind ratings, 35-year waterproof roofs (utilizing 60 ml TPO material), and exposed-side painting on every unit. We custom design to meet the highest performance demands, whether that means insulating materials that reduce sound by 60 dba or units that can withstand climates from minus 50 degrees to 120 degrees F.

Vertically-integrated Manufacturing

Unlike other packagers, who merely assemble other manufacturers’ materials and products, 3PI excels in vertically integrated manufacturing. Our manufacturing capabilities include in-house fabrication, welding, mechanical assembly, and electrical switchgear and panel assembly. Our advanced, 200,000 square-foot facility boasts 100-ton lifting capability, indoor and outdoor test bays, resistive and reactive load banks, and a natural gas supply with capacity to run even largest natural gas generators built. As a result, we offer complete testing of gas or diesel power generation systems in both off-grid and grid-connected modes of operation to ensure products meet project requirements prior to shipment. Combined, these capabilities translate to improved lead times, reduced on-site commissioning times, and the best quality available in the industry.

Post-sale Service & Support

To back up our products, 3PI maintains a full-time field service department, offering rigging and installation support, commissioning support, parts replacement, warranty service, preventive maintenance, and nationwide coverage.
