About Preferred Hospice
Preferred and Regional Hospice are a Missouri-based company comprised of a multidisciplinary team of healthcare workers who specialize in end-of-life care. Preferred Hospice has been in business for over 15 years in the state of Missouri with management oversite from the Board of Directors for Midwest Hospice. We have 7 offices across Missouri covering over 65 counties in the state. Our offices are located in the following cities: Dexter, Farmington, St Louis (Ballwin), Rolla, Columbia, Lexington, Ozark.
Regional Hospice has 3 offices, serving the southwest corner of the state. Offices are in Springfield, Lebanon, and Joplin.
Our mission is to have a positive impact on the lives of those we serve; to inspire through example and encourage celebration of life; and to assist with spiritual, emotional and physical peace and healing.
The hospice team members include: the patient's personal physician, hospice physicians, nurses, certified nurses aides, social workers, clergy or other spiritual counselors, trained volunteers, and specialists such as speech, physical and occupational therapy along with dietary consultation.
Preferred and Regional Hospices are Medicare Certified and Missouri Medicaid Certified. We are a member of the We Honor Veterans program through the VA. We take care of patients wherever they reside--private home, skilled nursing facility, assisted living facility, etc.
