Plumsted Township School District

The Plumsted Township School District is a comprehensive community public school district that educates students in Kindergarten though twelfth grade (in addition to special education students in pre-kindergarten) from Plumsted Township, in Ocean County, New Jersey, United States.As of the 2011-12 school year, the district's four schools had an enrollment of 1,600 students and 138.5 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 11.55:1.The district is classified by the New Jersey Department of Education as being in District Factor Group "DE", the fifth-highest of eight groupings.
