We began as a small South African based publishing company, Winning Form, publishing then distributing horse racing form guides in 1986. After opening our first branch in Durban in the year 2000 we took the leap and joined the online community with the launch of our Hollywoodbets website www.hollywoodbets.net in 2006.

Our Hollywoodbets mobisite www.hollywoodbets.mobi joined soon after that in 2009 as the business expanded. Hollywoodbets now has over 83 branches spread across six of South Africa’s provinces as well as a variety of platforms to bet on including USSD betting, the mobisite and betting website as well as the feature phone application.

Hollywoodbets has in excess of 3 500 team members across the country and fosters a strong educational and instructional ethos that runs throughout the organisation. Skills training and development occurs at all levels of the Hollywood Group, encouraging advancement from within the organization.

Team support (head office) is situated in Durban, and is the engine room of the Hollywoodbets operation. This team provides general management, finance and administration, internal audit, HR, marketing and IT support to the Hollywoodbets branches. Systems and infrastructure has been successfully created to effectively run our operation using state-of-the-art reporting systems and management tools.

The business is spread across a vast geographical area including regional support in KwaZulu-Natal, Western & Eastern Cape, Limpopo, Mpumalanga and Gauteng, which report into this hub. There are close to 500 team members involved in supporting the operations in this way.
