AVIDD Community Services of NJ

Incorporated in 1986, Avidd Community Services of New Jersey, Inc. was created to develop two group homes for intellectually disabled people who were living in a nursing home set for closure. The purpose of Avidd Community Services is to provide community-based services for people with developmental disabilities in order to assist them in achieving their full human potential.

Avidd Community Services believes that developmental disabilities do not detract from the value that individuals hold. Avidd is committed to helping people with developmental disabilities participate fully in all aspects of community living. Avidd will enable each individual to develop fully; encouraging growth and independence. Every person receiving the services of Avidd will be treated with dignity and respect by caring and concerned staff who will pay close attention to the individual’s needs, desires and aspirations and is dedicated in efforts to support people with disabilities in achieving their goals.
