About Byers Industrial Services
Byers was founded in 1972 by Frank Byers as Byers Electrical Construction. Over the next five years, the company grew to 10 employees and was breaking through from residential wiring to medium-sized commercial projects serving local malls and businesses. We quickly progressed to working in school construction, water/sewer treatment plants, and a variety of other public construction projects. In 1992, we made our footprint in the state of Delaware working with the Delaware Department of Transportation; a long-term relationship the company still holds today.
As the company continued to evolve, we found our specialty in the industrial and food manufacturing industry. In 2017, our customer’s needs were assessed, and we decided to expand our services to become a multifaceted provider of industrial services, which in turn created a need for a company name change. Today, Byers Industrial Services employs over 100 highly-skilled industrial tradesmen and provides turn-key solutions by offering electrical, mechanical, structural and utility services throughout the U.S. and is currently licensed in 19 states and continuously growing.

Our mechanical division provides equipment installations, process and stainless steel pipe welding using Orbital Welding Technologies for both Food Grade and Pharmaceutical Grade applications. We provide in-plant maintenance and repair of equipment and facilities, along with being available 24 hours a day to keep you and your business up and running when emergencies arise.
Electrical Over the past 42 years, our electrical division has evolved tremendously with the assessment of our customers’ needs. Our team understands the complexities of production, which led us into becoming a multi-faceted provider of industrial and manufacturing electrical services.
With our customers operating 24 hours a day, our skilled tradesmen are on call for all of your emergency needs and are readily available to respond and provide quick and efficient turnaround.

Our structural division provides both fabrication and installation services for building maintenance, equipment installations, emergency repairs and building modifications. We understand the needs of manufacturers to maintain production, minimize disruption, and work cleanly and safely to allow production to continue.
UtilityByers builds and maintains overhead and underground high voltage systems for industrial customers. We are also equipped to provide services on energized lines and equipment.
Traffic signal systems have been an been a large part of our operation for over 20 years, working with The Delaware Department of Transportation we have provided new installations throughout the state and have maintained, repaired and modernized existing systems to keep Delaware traffic flowing efficiently.
