About Rico Industries, Inc
It's hard to drive down the road, attend a sporting event, or go on vacation without coming across one of Rico's fun products. In addition to being a pro and college sports licensee, the company also develops and manufactures private label merchandise for National and State Parks, Theme Parks, and other destination retailers.
The corporate office is located in Niles, IL while manufacturing and distribution are handled from its Heath Springs, SC facility.
Rico got its start in 1944 as a Chicago-based manufacturer of leather wallets. Since then, the company has continued to expand its catalog and now offers banners, flags, pennants, stickers, magnets, license plate frames, and ceramics - many of which are manufactured completely in the United States.
From 2008 - 2018 Rico experienced a period of rapid growth and transformation during which it prospered but struggled to train, organize, and delegate. In 2018 the business began to invest heavily in developing talent, process, and technology for its South Carolina factory and distribution center and in 2019 - Rico's 75th Anniversary - the company has hit a new stride.
Working at Rico can be fun and challenging. The complex business of manufacturing to spec and properly shipping to over 5k customers - many of whom have stringent vendor guidelines - provides opportunity for advancement and growth as associates expand their skill sets. There are a lot of entry-level positions and many have made successful careers at Rico by advancing to managerial roles.
Company leadership is accessible, personable, and interested in the success of Rico's associates.
