ABOUT PLYMOUTH HARBOR
Plymouth Harbor on Sarasota Bay is a not-for-profit Life Plan Community located on beautiful Sarasota Bay. ABOUT EMPLOYEE WELLNESS
OnBoard is designed to enhance the well-being of employees throughout the seven dimensions of wellness: Environmental/Community, Emotional, Intellectual, Physical, Professional/Vocational, Social, and Spiritual. To meet these needs, Plymouth Harbor has established dedicated programs within each dimension, available to all employees, and in many instances, employees’ family members. Examples of the programs we offer are listed below.
1. Environmental/Community
•Supporting All Faiths Food Bank through volunteering on-site once a month and quarterly food donations.
•Quarterly onsite blood drives with Suncoast Community Blood Bank.
•Cleaning up Plymouth Harbor’s adopted section of John Ringling Boulevard through the City’s Keep Sarasota County Beautiful program.
2. Emotional
•Employee assistance programs are available, including confidential, professional counseling, our Helping Hands program, and our Good Neighbor Fund for unforeseen financial difficulties.
3.Intellectual
•Monthly, one-on-one retirement counseling from Plymouth Harbor’s 401K provider.
•Lunch Break Spanish: An eight-week basic Spanish class, offered during lunch.
4.Physical
•FREE, 24/7 use of Plymouth Harbor’s state-of-the-art Fitness Center is available to employees and their spouses. Weekly fitness classes are also offered.
•Healthy Lunch Program: offering healthy, freshly-made food selections; payroll-deducted for convenience.
5.Professional/Vocational
•Annual scholarships are available to employees and their family members.
•Employee of the Month and Shining Star programs recognizing outstanding employee performance.
