While many of our employees live the country lifestyle and know their way around a log splitter before the even set foot in DR Power, many learn the ins and outs once they get here. History:
Lyman Wood founded us as County Home Products in 1985 with the goal of helping folks care for their land and property with quality products. Our first product was the DR Trimmer Mower. Back then, our objective was to improve upon the hand-held string trimmer. But rather than focus on incremental advancements, we chose to radically improve the status quo. As we decided to expand our offerings, Country Home Products was created as a parent company to two separate brands: DR Power Equipment for high-quality, innovative power equipment for large properties and Neuton for eco-friendly equipment for smaller properties.
In August, 2015, joined the Generac Power Systems, Inc family. Since 1959, Generac has been a leading designer and manufacturer of a wide range of power generation equipment and other engine powered products. Here at DR Power Equipment, as the Chore Business Division of Generac, we are excited to have an opportunity to collaborate with such a leader in power equipment design and manufacturing. We are committed to bringing the very best property care tools to homeowners. Because we know that with the right tool caring for your property is an unparalleled pleasure.
