About Gordy's Market
Gordy's Market Mission:
To be an integral partner in the communities that we serve, by providing excellent service to our customers with quality products, at a good value, in a friendly, comfortable environment.

Serving our communities since 1966 has been a passion of the Schafer Family for almost 50 years. Founded on the values of providing families with quality products at affordable prices while paying high attention to friendly service, Gordy’s Market continues to offer its local communities these longstanding traditions. Established by Gordy and Donna Schafer, Gordy’s Market has been a family tradition for over 3 generations.

Gordy’s Market’s roots began in 1966 in a 1,000 sq. ft store on the Southside of Chippewa Falls, built on the dream of providing his local community a grocery store they could rely on.

Gordy’s Market remains one of the longest locally owned and operated grocery stores in the Chippewa Valley. We believe supporting our local communities and buying from local vendors helps keep our communities strong. As a tribute to how thankful we are for our customers, Gordy’s also offers additional programs to give back, including our Scrip and Gordy’s Gives Back Programs.

From day one, we have been about our families, communities and local vendors and we look forward to continuing the traditions for another 50 years. Stop in today to any one of our stores to experience the standards in which we were founded on and be a part of our longstanding family tradition!
