About HANSENS IGA
Founded in 1968 by Leo and Rosemary Hansen, Hansen's IGA has been around for over 50 years and we are continuing to grow and expand as a company. 2017 was marked by the acquisition of our Black River Falls store, and 2018 was marked by the acquisition of our Washburn store. Now at 11 stores strong spread throughout mainly Western Wisconsin (with Washburn being the farthest outlying branch in Northern Wisconsin), Hansen's IGA continues to see increased successes as a company.

In 2018, Hansen's IGA donated over 30k to local charities in our communities, not to include the countless brat fries that we supported. The discount programs that Hansen's offered in 2018 to help our Senior Citizens and best customers totaled over $340,000.
Hansen's IGA has a company picnic each summer, where our employees are served food, play bingo and receive recognition and awards. Employee appreciation events are continued year-round to encourage a positive working environment and team connectivity. Each store has an Employee Recognition Board where coworkers can recognize each other for a job well done with a drawing at the end of each month for a gift card. Other appreciation events include drawings for extra PTO, trivia events, and bingo events. Hansen's IGA continues to show appreciation for our employees and push towards a fun working environment by continuously doing appreciation events like this!
