If you pause and look really close in our community, you will notice a group of individuals working tirelessly to help their neighbors. They are keeping kids safe so parents can work, packing bags of food, and counseling us through the most difficult days. Many non-profit organizations are being relied on now, more than ever before, and they are doing more with less. With fundraisers cancelled, donations waning, and bills to pay, they need our financial support.
Alliance Bank was honored to feature these non-profits in a Giving Tuesday video release. Be sure to watch until the end, when Chief Lending Officer Jonathan Elkins delivered a few surprises.

Every Friday is Casual Day at Alliance Bank! Team members are able to wear denim and tennis shoes every Friday of the month. This Casual for a Cause program gets employees involved in local giving. Employee donations are matched by the Bank and given to a selected charity each quarter.
Alliance Bank Junior Board Visits Local BusinessesThe future of our communities lies in our young people. For that reason, Alliance Bank invests time and resources into a Junior Board of Directors. These area high school students learn about local non-profits and visit businesses each month. Our goal is to build their sense of community and help them learn about potential careers right here in their back yard.
Fun Times at Banking on Women ConferenceBank employees are encouraged to attend in-person and online trainings and conferences throughout the year. Our vision is Growing Together. Many of the opportunities are hosted by Indiana Bankers Association, including their annual Banking on Women conference.

"When I came to interview in 2002, the person working the drive-up waived at me as I crossed the parking lot. I didn't know her and she had no idea who I was. That one moment captured the friendly and family culture of our Bank. I love that we show that same caring attitude towards our clients and community." - Shane Pilarski, President and CEO
