Railroad Retirement Benefits

While TTX is not a railroad company, it does come under the provisions of the Railroad Retirement Act rather than the Social Security Act. The objective is the same: federally-sponsored accident, sickness, disability, unemployment, and pension benefits paid for by employers and employees. The paycheck deductions will differ from Social Security, as will the benefits. Previously accumulated benefits under Social Security will not be forfeited.
Internship Program
The TTX Internship program is designed to create a beneficial experience for current undergraduate and graduate students while increasing awareness of TTX operations, the railroad industry and providing practical and valuable experience for interns across disciplines and professions.

The program is geared to provide a rich experience in the specific department you join, as well as the company as a whole. Interns are encouraged to attend any sessions offered to obtain the full internship program experience.
