Olympia Sports may not make you an Olympian, but they do feature the gear to go for gold. The sporting goods retailer offers sports equipment, fitness gear and apparel, athletic shoes, casual wear, and sports accessories under such brands as Columbia, Louisville Slugger, Bauer, PUMA, Reebok, and Teva. It sells merchandise through more than 200 banner stores in many of the small towns dotting the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, and via a website. In addition to its retail business, the company oversees the private nonprofit Olympia Sports Foundation. The foundation runs a clothing bank and collaborates on projects with local charities and schools within its retail region. Founder and CEO Ed Manganello owns Olympia.
